General conditions for using the AISAC Academy platform, its courses, content and services.
Last updated: October 1, 2026 · Version 1.1
This document is also available in Portuguese. In case of conflict, the Portuguese version prevails.
These Terms of Use govern your legal relationship with AISAC and constitute a binding contract under applicable Brazilian law, in particular the Civil Code (Law No. 10,406/2002), the Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990, where applicable) and the Internet Civil Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014). For users residing in the European Union and the United Kingdom, more favourable local legal protections additionally apply.

- Are over 18 (eighteen) years of age or are duly represented or assisted by your parents or legal guardians under the Brazilian Civil Code;
- Have full legal capacity to enter into contracts;
- Provide true, accurate, current and complete information, and will keep it so;

If you are contracting on behalf of a legal entity, you declare that you have sufficient powers to bind it to these Terms.
5. Creators and Schools
By creating a School and publishing Courses, the Creator:
- Declares that they own all rights to the published Content or have sufficient authorisation to make it available;
- Assumes full responsibility for the Content of their Courses, including its accuracy, legality and suitability, holding AISAC harmless from any third-party claim;

6. Enrollment and Payments
Enrollment in a Course may occur by invitation from the Creator, by free registration or by purchasing a paid plan or Course.
- Prices, currencies and conditions of each plan or Course are disclosed before purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party provider (Stripe), and AISAC does not store full card data.
- Unless otherwise stated, prices include taxes applicable in Brazil. Additional taxes or fees in other jurisdictions are the User's responsibility.
- Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled; cancellation can be made at any time and takes effect at the end of the period already paid.

- AISAC may change prices with at least 30 (thirty) days' notice, applicable to subsequent periods.
7. Certificates
Certificates are issued automatically when the Student meets the completion criteria defined by the Course Creator. They attest completion of the Course on the Platform and do not constitute a diploma, a regulated professional certification or official academic recognition, unless expressly stated by the Creator. Each Certificate has a public verification code. AISAC may revoke Certificates obtained by fraud or in breach of these Terms.
8. AI Tutor and AI-Generated Content
The AI Tutor and automatic lesson notes are generated by third-party artificial-intelligence models from the Content of the Courses. You acknowledge that:
- Answers may contain inaccuracies, omissions or errors and are for informational and educational purposes only;
- They do not replace the original Course Content or specialised professional advice (legal, medical, financial, security, etc.);
- You must not enter sensitive personal data, secrets or credentials in conversations with the AI Tutor;
- AISAC may limit the volume of AI Tutor usage to preserve service stability.
9. Prohibited Conduct
When using the Platform, you undertake not to engage in, and not to allow third parties to engage in, the following conduct:
- Using the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent purposes or purposes harmful to third-party rights;

- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas, servers or databases, including reverse-engineering attempts or exploiting vulnerabilities outside the responsible-disclosure programme described on the Security page;
- Using bots, scrapers, crawlers or any automated data-extraction technique without prior express authorisation;
- Collecting personal data from other Users without consent;
- Using the AI Tutor to generate unlawful, offensive content or content that infringes third-party rights;
- Carrying out denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS), brute-force or similar attacks;
- Impersonating another person or entity, or falsely claiming affiliation with AISAC;
- Using the Platform in a way that may harm, overload or compromise the normal operation of the services.

By submitting User Content through the Platform, you:
- Declare that you own all rights to the submitted Content or have sufficient authorisation to make it available;
- Grant AISAC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide and revocable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, translate and display the Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the services;
- Assume full responsibility for the Content, holding AISAC harmless from any third-party claim arising from it;
- Agree that AISAC and the School's Creator may, at their discretion, remove User Content that violates these Terms, applicable law or third-party rights, without prior notice.
AISAC does not review all User Content in advance and cannot guarantee its truthfulness, accuracy or suitability.
11. Intellectual Property
The Platform — including its code, layout, design, trademarks, logos, trade names and the materials produced by AISAC itself, such as the Governed Agentic Workloop and the Agentic Infrastructure Architecture — is the exclusive property of AISAC or its licensors and is protected by Brazilian and international copyright law (Law No. 9,610/1998), industrial property law (Law No. 9,279/1996) and international treaties.
The Content of Courses published by Creators belongs to the respective Creators or their licensors. Enrollment grants the Student a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access the Content for their own learning, for as long as the enrollment lasts.
Reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, communication to the public, reverse engineering or commercial use of the Content without the prior express authorisation of the rights holder is prohibited, except in the cases of fair use provided by law (brief quotation with attribution).
The "AISAC", "AISAC Academy" marks, the logo and other distinctive signs are owned by AISAC. Their use without authorisation is prohibited. Any infringement should be reported to contact@aisac.global for immediate action.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links, embedded videos or integrations with third-party websites, applications or services that are neither operated nor controlled by AISAC. AISAC is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, business practices or any damage arising from access to such services. Access is at your own risk, and you are advised to read the terms and policies of each service.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
The processing of your personal data by AISAC is governed by our Privacy Policy, which you declare to have read and accepted by using the Platform. In the event of conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on data protection matters, the Privacy Policy prevails.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and the services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, absence of errors, absolute security or non-infringement of third-party rights, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
AISAC will make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform operational, up to date and secure, but does not guarantee the absence of failures, interruptions, delays or inaccuracies.
Educational content, including content generated by the AI Tutor, is for informational purposes only and does not replace specialised professional advice. Decisions made on the basis of the Content are the User's sole responsibility.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AISAC, its officers, employees, service providers and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages or loss of profits arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
AISAC's total aggregate liability to the User, in any event, is limited to the amount actually paid by the User to AISAC in the 12 (twelve) months preceding the triggering event or, if the service is free, to BRL 100.00 (one hundred Brazilian reais).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits AISAC's liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, damage to life, health or physical integrity, or for breach of rights that by law cannot be limited (including consumer rights where applicable).
AISAC is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Creators, other Users or third parties, including hosting providers, telecommunications operators, payment services and linked websites.
16. Indemnification
The User undertakes to indemnify, defend and hold harmless AISAC, its officers, employees, service providers and licensors from any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost and expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) the User's breach of these Terms or the Privacy Policy; (ii) the User's infringement of third-party rights; (iii) Content submitted by the User; or (iv) misuse of the Platform.
17. Suspension and Termination
AISAC may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate the User's access to the Platform, in whole or in part, with or without prior notice, in the following cases:
- Breach of these Terms or the Privacy Policy;
- Breach of applicable law;
- Provision of false or inaccurate information;
- Abusive, fraudulent conduct or conduct harmful to third parties;
- Judicial or administrative order.
The User may at any time stop using the Platform and request deletion of their Account and personal data through the channel indicated in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) remain in force.
18. Changes to the Terms
AISAC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated by a prominent notice on the Platform or by e-mail, where appropriate, with reasonable notice before they take effect.
Continued use of the services after the effective date of the new version constitutes tacit acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the services before the effective date.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, regardless of conflict-of-law rules. The courts of the District of Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, are elected as competent to settle any dispute arising from these Terms, the parties waiving any other, however privileged.
- Users who qualify as consumers under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code may opt for the courts of their domicile.
- Users residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom or jurisdictions with more protective consumer rules retain the local legal rights that cannot be contractually waived.
- The parties may at any time seek an amicable resolution before resorting to the courts, by direct communication to contact@aisac.global.
20. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the parties on their subject matter, superseding any prior understandings.
- Severability: the invalidity or unenforceability of any clause shall not affect the others, which remain in full force.
- No waiver: a party's tolerance of non-compliance with any clause does not imply waiver of the right to require future compliance.
- Assignment: the User may not assign or transfer their rights and obligations under these Terms without AISAC's prior written consent. AISAC may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, in cases of corporate reorganisation, merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure: neither party shall be liable for non-performance due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, under art. 393 of the Brazilian Civil Code.
- Notices: official communications between the parties shall be made in writing to the e-mails indicated in these Terms.
